Introduction New Hampshire is 42nd among the 50 states of U.S. New Hampshire is located in the New England region of northeastern United States and was admitted to the Union of United States in 1788 as the 9th state. The constitution of New Hampshire gives three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. The executive council consists of governor of the state five members from each district represents one-fifth of the population. The executive council of the state with the governor has the authority and responsibility over the administration over the state affairs. The executive with the governor are elected for two year term. The legislative branch consists of members of House of Representatives and senators.
